Said goodbye to Sid for you
Hi Sis,
Yesterday saw the Tribe gather at Vinters Park to mark the passing of Sid. As you would have expected it was well attended. It went as well as can be expected the passing has not hit Tony and the Girls as hard as when they lost you. Mavis has been a rock for all to lean on.
I hope that the next time I take out my Dark Suit from the wardrobe it will be to mark a happier occasion when I will be able to dance.

Do you honestly think we will give you the satisfaction of knowing when he dies... nor will we tell Auntie Caroline or anyone else that knows you. You are already dead to us.... so why wait... go dance now.... we do!
The above comment I believe is from my little sister. As you can see she is more bitter and twisted than I am!
Since the passing of Ricky she has not managed to speak with her Daughters, Son or Husband. She sent a couple of emails claiming that she had not been able to contact anyone because she was hurting so much.
She has also posted comments on this blog that I decided were not fit to publish. Saying that our generation was disfunctional and that we should not destroy the next. This I find strange as she drove the biggest wedge between the cousins when my Brother and his wife divorced.
I just guess that she has been drinking or that the stress of her family situation is such that she has decided to vent.
I hope that the above actions have allowed her some form of closure and hope that she enjoys the very small party my parents have planned to celibrate there Golden Wedding in the summer. Always assuming that my aged father makes it ;-)
